Meet the Artist

Carrie Brickhouse Cranwell is a potter and high school art teacher from eastern North Carolina. In 2017 she graduated from East Carolina University with a BFA in Art Education. Between teaching public school, summer art programs, and after school programs she has worked with all ages. Additionally, she has taught adult pottery classes and several workshops and artist demonstrations across North Carolina.

Her personal work in ceramics focuses on illustrative sgraffito designs on wheel thrown vessels along with also exploring more sculptural hand built pieces.
