Meet the Artist

Carrie Brickhouse Cranwell is a potter and high school art teacher from Creswell, North Carolina. In 2017 she graduated from East Carolina University with a BFA in Art Education. She has taught school age ranges from K-12 both in the public school setting and in summer and afterschool art programs. Additionally, she has taught sgraffito workshops and lead several artist demonstrations across North Carolina.

Her personal work in ceramics focuses on illustrative sgraffito designs on wheel thrown vessels along with also exploring more sculptural hand built pieces.
